Panda is proud to continue to support a talented group of Irish students who will be representing their country at the prestigious SAGE World Cup Finals in Japan. The team will be travelling to Tokyo in two weeks to compete in a series of challenges aimed at addressing global social issues.
Students have been working tirelessly to prepare for the competition and their journey has been featured on The Oliver Callan Show on RTE Radio One, where Alanna discussed the project and the excitement of representing Ireland on the international stage.
In addition to financial backing, Panda Recycling, part of the Beauparc group, has also provided the team with invaluable in-kind support. The students have had the opportunity to use a conference suite and toured the Panda Materials Recovery Facility in Ballymount, gaining firsthand insights into sustainable waste management practices.
The team’s dedication and innovative approach to addressing social challenges has earned them a well-deserved spot at the SAGE World Cup Finals. With the support of Panda Recycling and other generous sponsors, they are poised to make a significant impact on the global stage.
We wish the Irish team the best of luck as they embark on this exciting adventure.
