DRIVES – Box Trucks, Skip Trucks, Hook Loaders, RCV’s & REL’s

Role Purpose:

  • To safely deliver and collect waste in line with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out required vehicle condition checks as required on a daily or weekly basis in accordance with company policy (Drivers Manual)
  • Carry out assigned collection and delivery targets on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Be 100% compliant with health, safety, smoking regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Maintain written and electronic records as required.
  • Assist in route optimization through the use of a GPS system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned company vehicle to agreed standards.
  • Deal courteously with customers and relay any relevant information on delivery or customer requirements to the relevant Panda staff.
  • Communicate information that could potentially improve customer service or increase business.
  • Work flexibly in line with the requirements of the depot.
  • Assist in training new personnel, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with helpers (where relevant) and ensure their health and safety.
  • Participate in company-mandated training.
  • Carry out any other duties as required in line with meeting Panda company objectives.
  • Observing and maintaining Panda values.

Qualifications / Skills Requirement

  • Valid C License without endorsements
  • Be certified fit to undertake this role by Panda Occupation Health Advisors

  • Safe Pass qualification desirable (but not essential)

Role Purpose:

  • Panda has vacancies for full-time Truck Drivers at its Kilkenny Depot.

Qualifications / Skills Requirement:

  • Candidates must have a clean, full rigid truck licence, have completed CPC course, and be available for all-day work.

Reporting to: Subcon Supervisor
Job Status:  Permanent

Responsibilities/ Duties including but not limited to:

  • Completion of all administration within the Subcon Administration Team
  • Working with subcontractors to ensure work is completed on a daily/ weekly basis and ensuring all work is confirmed on Elemos for month end deadlines.
  • Monthly checking and approval of invoices
  • Responsibility for all docket administration in relation to subcontracted services.
  • Liaising with the Sales Team/Customer Service/Operations/Key Accounts/Corporate Departments and Customers to resolve Invoice issues / Credit Queries.
  • Assist Subcon Supervisor in month end processes including all weekly data checks
  • Any ad hoc duties requested by Subcon Supervisor

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years Administration experience in a busy environment
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working on a database
  • Have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Be enthusiastic with a professional telephone manner
  • Solid Organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
