We’re delighted to celebrate a brilliant sustainability milestone with our partners at GWWO (Grifols Worldwide Operations), who have officially received certification for achieving Zero Waste to Landfill at their Grange Castle site in Dublin. This is no small feat, and it’s the result of genuine commitment, teamwork, and a shared belief that doing things the right way really matters.

For over five years, we have been proud partners at the Grange Castle site, working side by side with Grifols, one of Ireland’s leading pharmaceutical companies. We have been working with Enva, who bring  expertise in hazardous waste management and our team handling domestic bulk waste, we’ve built a truly complementary partnership. Together, we’ve worked closely with Grifols to analyse their waste streams, streamline their waste management, and build a zero-waste-to-landfill environment by diverting waste through recycling, reuse, and recovery.

Their certification is recognition of all the hard work that’s gone on behind the scenes and sets a strong example for sustainable operations across the industry.

As Graham Kennedy, Enva’s Key Account Manager for Grifols Ireland, reflected on what this certification really means:

“Achieving a Zero Waste to Landfill certification at this level takes sustained focus and collaboration. Over the past 12 months, Grifols dedicated significant effort to reach this prestigious standard, achieving a 100% score on the first attempt – an excellent reflection of the site’s commitment to maintaining a zero-waste-to-landfill environment.”

Our own Corporate Account Manager Eddie Moloney also echoed that pride:

“We’re incredibly proud to have assisted GWWO in achieving their Zero Waste to Landfill certification. This reflects the dedication of all teams involved in driving responsible waste management and having a real impact.”

Additionally, we’d like to extend a special congratulations to the wider team, including GWWO’s Site Facilities Manager Robert Kenny and Enva’s Business Development Manager Graham Kennedy, for their leadership and dedication throughout this process.

Together with Grifols and Enva, we’ll continue our partnership to maintain this certification with everything it stands for, and we’re more than confident to say this is just the beginning of even greater things to come.
