IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PANDA CUSTOMERS

Following much consultation with Louth County Council and your local representatives. Panda customers can now choose between 2 different options depending on your needs.

OPTION A
Annual subscription charge of €282.00 including VAT per annum.

This option covers all black and green bin collections throughout the year.
If you choose this option there is no further action required. Once payment is received you may present your bin for collection.

OPTION B
Pay by Lift & Weight.

This option suits you if you only present your bin to be emptied once a month or less. Costs for this option are as follows:

Annual Service charge	€ 90.00
Black Bin Lift charge	€ 7.50
Black Bin Weight charge [per kg]	€ 0.28
Green Bin Lift charge	FREE
Green Bin Weight charge	FREE

Should you wish to choose Option B please contact us directly on 1850 62-62-62 alternatively tick the box on the letter provided with invoice that you have received with all your details filled in and return to Panda at the address below, otherwise your account will automatically default to Option 1.

Each current Panda Tag customer will be provided with 1 Free Electronic Bin Tag card that will be used to top-up their Panda Account. Please allow 24 hours for the payment to appear on your Panda account. You can check your current Panda Account balance by calling at 1850 62-62-62 and choosing option 3 on your phone

To top-up your account please visit any PayPoint outlet (full list of PayPoint outlets available here) and present your Electronic Bin Tag card. Minimum top-up value is €5.00 maximum is €150.00

Every time you present your Black bin it will be weighed during the lift by the bin lorry. At the end of the day all the information is transferred from the lorries to our account management system.
Each account will be debited over night with the relevant value of your black bin lift
(€ 7.50 for black bin lift + € 0.28 * x kg for your black bin waste weight.).

For example, if your bin will weigh 25 kg, the amount of € 14.50 will be deducted from your Panda Account. (i.e. 1 lift [€7.50] + 25 kg [25 * €0.28 = €7.00])

IMPORTANT !!!
Remember that Your Panda Account must be IN CREDIT in order for the black bin to be emptied by the bin lorry and remember that you have to top-up your Panda accout 24 hours prior to presenting your bin for emptying. If you put out your bin out and your Panda Account is not in credit, the bin will not be emptied.
